Hereford Grill, the iconic Miami steakhouse that served the community for 25 years, has officially returned with a renewed vision and new leadership. Once a favorite gathering place for celebrities and devoted regulars alike, the beloved institution is now under the stewardship of Erasmo Da Silva, entrepreneur and founder of Da Silva Hospitality Group, which also owns the neighborhood favorite Zucca and the forthcoming Italian food hall, Zuccaly, opening at The Plaza Coral Gables.

This year, Hereford Grill will offer a special New Year’s Eve dinner menu priced at $70 per guest. The evening begins with a choice of appetizers, including Lobster Bisque or a Waldorf Salad prepared tableside with baby gem lettuce, apples, celery, and grapes. For the main course, guests may select from Prime Rib Roast; Turkey Breast stuffed with mushrooms; or Roasted Pork Loin glazed with prune sauce. Each entrée is accompanied by a family-style selection of Black Wild Rice, Sweet Potato Purée, Zucchini and Leeks Gratin, and Grilled Asparagus.

The celebratory menu concludes with indulgent desserts such as Carrot Cake served with vanilla ice cream or Apple Strudel paired with homemade cream.

In addition to the prix fixe offering, Hereford Grill’s full à la carte menu will be available throughout the evening. The menu highlights a signature selection of sustainably raised, hormone-free premium cuts, expertly prepared over a precise combination of wood-fired and charcoal grilling—a technique that underscores the steakhouse’s commitment to craftsmanship and quality. Standout offerings include Wagyu Denver and New York steaks from Snake River Farms, the pioneer of American Wagyu beef, as well as exceptional selections sourced from Niman Ranch. Additional highlights range from a grass-fed Boneless Rib Eye and a Certified Angus Rib Eye Cap to daily bone-in cuts such as Porterhouse and Tomahawk Cowboy steaks. These offerings pair seamlessly with dishes including Grass-Fed Beef Tartare with sweet potato strings, Lobster Mac ’n’ Cheese, and the signature Caesar Salad prepared tableside with baby gem lettuce.

Beyond steaks, the menu features notable entrées such as Grilled Branzino and Potato Gnocchi, alongside the return of beloved Hereford Grill classics. These include Mixed Arepas, Sweet Plantain Rolls filled with white cheese, Short Rib Croquettes with Romesco sauce, and Tequeños served with papelón and passion fruit. House-made chorizos and morcillas round out the savory offerings, while desserts—also made in house—include Flambéed Pancakes with dulce de leche, Flourless Chocolate Nemesis Cake, Basque Cheesecake, and Tres Leches Cake.

A recipient of the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, Hereford Grill is recognized for the depth and quality of its wine list and its thoughtful pairing with the restaurant’s premium meats—an enduring hallmark of the steakhouse’s legacy and its revitalized future.
