Live Jazz at The Betsy Hotel

Tijon Perfume-Making at The Gates Hotel South Beach

Every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. during Miami Art Week, The Gates Hotel South Beach will host bespoke perfume-making experiences with Tijon, where guests create custom 55 ml bottled perfumes guided by Tijon’s fragrance experts. An open-air promenade and year-round public art park, Lincoln Road will feature 14 works for Art Week Miami Beach 2025 from international and local artists, including Philippe Katerine, Gillie and Marc, Rubem Robierb, and inaugural Call to Artists winner Oscar Esteban Martinez. Together, these larger-than-life installations transform Lincoln Road into one of the most accessible and engaging cultural stages of the week.

Paws and Palettes at Hotel Continental

On Tuesday, December 2, Hotel Continental and artist Danny O’Connor present Paws and Palettes, a free, interactive celebration where guests can bring pet photos for O’Connor to “re-paw-duce” on Hotel Continental stationery during two poolside sessions (10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4-9 p.m.). Attendees can relax by the pool or at the vintage-inspired Mixer while enjoying bites and “paw-fectly” chilled drinks from Divebar as O’Connor, known for his nostalgic, cartoon-inspired canvases featured throughout the hotel, brings his playful artistry to Miami Beach’s Mid-Beach district.
Driven by Art: Live Car Sculpture by Hiraa Majed at Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club

Starting on Tuesday, December 2 at noon, multidisciplinary artist Hira Majeed will live paint “Serenity,” a life-size Cadillac F1 car sculpture on-site on Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club’s front porch overlooking Collins Ave. Crafted primarily from clay and resin, the sculpture bridges motorsport, design and contemporary art while reflecting the tranquility and focus that inspire both driving and creation. The installation celebrates the Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club’s legacy as a Miami Beach icon and offers a moment of stillness amid the energy of Miami Art Week.

An Afternoon of Art at Hotel Continental

Hotel Continental and Danny O’Connor present An Afternoon of Art with live poolside painting on Wednesday, December 3, from 1-5 p.m. O’Connor, whose painting “The Summer of 1948” is featured in the hotel’s lobby, will reinterpret small vignettes from that work on a larger canvas by the pool, capturing the spirit of midcentury American vacations through classic details and icons like Marilyn Monroe, Chuck Berry, and Steve McQueen. Guests can watch as characters such as longboarder “Commander Good Times” and surfer “JoJo Toscano” come to life while enjoying chilled beverages and bites from Divebar in the relaxed poolside setting. Portraits will be available for purchase until Thursday, December 4.

During Miami Art Week 2025, The Betsy Hotel’s Exhibitions Program, curated by owner Lesley Goldwasser, showcases 38 limited-edition works by Christo and Jeanne-Claude, many photographed by Wolfgang Volz. The exhibition highlights the artists’ visionary approach and Volz’s documentation of their monumental installations, which challenged bureaucracy, inspired community engagement, and offered enduring commentary on the environment.
