Explore art, music, and culture in Miami’s most creative district.

As Miami Art Week and Art Basel Miami Beach return this December, Wynwood once again takes center stage as the city’s most walkable hub of creativity. The neighborhood’s colorful streets will come alive with international art fairs, immersive exhibitions, fashion collaborations, and live performances that capture Miami’s unmistakable energy.

“Wynwood is more than a backdrop for Art Week—it’s Miami’s creative pulse year-round,” says William Kelley, Executive Director of the Wynwood Business Improvement District (BID). “This year’s programming unites fine art, street art, community, and nightlife into one vibrant experience.”

While many shows require tickets, a surprising number of free Miami Art Week events invite visitors to dive into Wynwood’s art scene at no cost.

Why Wynwood Steals the Show

This year, Wynwood’s influence stretches beyond its streets with an immersive installation at Art Miami built around the 2025 theme Get Lost in Wynwood. The BID’s booth features digital murals, video installations, and artwork by Andrew Soria, whose collage of Wynwood architecture adorns limited-edition tote bags and T-shirts.

From sunrise mural tours to late-night DJ sets, Wynwood remains the heartbeat of Miami Art Week—alive with creativity, color, and community at every turn.
