A Look Inside Pier Sixty-Six’s Perla Lichi-Designed Residence
Pier Sixty-Six, the $1 billion redeveloped 32-acre superyacht marina-front hotel and residences in Fort Lauderdale, has collaborated with award-winning interior designer Perla Lichi to design a residence within its Indigo condo building.
Originally opened in 1965, Pier Sixty-Six has long been one of Fort Lauderdale’s most recognizable waterfront landmarks, known for its spire-topped tower and rotating Pier Top lounge. Today, the reimagined property brings together a 325-room resort, 12 culinary and beverage venues, resort-style pools, the 13,000-square-foot Zenova Spa + Wellness with the region’s first snow room and an Aufguss-inspired sauna set against Pier Sixty-Six Marina with 164 slips, 5,000 linear feet of dockage, capacity for vessels from 40 to 400 feet and no bridge restrictions to ocean access.
With more than 40 years designing luxury residential and commercial interiors across the globe, Lichi has built one of South Florida’s most recognized luxury design practices, with an international clientele spanning celebrities and royalty.
Designed around the water, marina views and natural light that define the setting, the three-bedroom residence features a palette of aquas and blues drawn from the waterfront, grounded by neutral tones and brought to life by floor-to-ceiling glass that shifts with the light throughout the day. Custom built-ins enhance the architecture while reflective details amplify the views at every turn. An expansive wraparound terrace creates a seamless indoor-outdoor experience, with sweeping views of Fort Lauderdale’s waterways and skyline.
The residence is set within Indigo, one of Pier Sixty-Six Residences’ two condominium buildings, where each condo home features a private plunge pool, a first for Fort Lauderdale. Pier Sixty-Six Residences includes 88 homes across Azul, Indigo and two Resort Residences buildings, bringing private ownership to the historic waterfront property for the first time.
Pier Sixty-Six integrates private residences into a fully activated resort setting, where ownership includes an exclusive invitation to The Club at Pier Sixty-Six, Fort Lauderdale’s first invitation-only private social club. Members have access to private dining venues, the Orchid Room and Garden Room, a dedicated members’ pool with cabanas and outdoor bar, an additional 4,500-square-foot fitness and wellness center, and ongoing programming ng ranging from weekly Sunday sound baths and Saturday morning floating meditations to assisted stretch, meditation classes and small-group training. The Club has also added Technogym Checkup to its fitness space, giving users a baseline across body composition, balance, memory, mobility and other health indicators.
