ART NoMad, the rooftop bar at Arlo NoMad, has revamped its scenic outdoor space for the season, debuting a new mural by Rey Jaffet, known for creating the tallest mural in Miami. The 30-by-40-foot piece showcases a colorful and vibrant figure floating in motion, delivering a powerful message of transcendence. Standing 31 stories high, ART NoMad has direct views of the NYC skyline and is known for its Sky Walk, a glass floor that allows guests to see the view from below. This season, ART NoMad is offering a new menu with specials by Chef Michael King, including Vaso de Frutas, Tahini Hummus and the indulgent Arlo Lobster Roll, complemented by refreshing spritzes, evoking the essence of a vacation in the heart of New York City. ART NoMad is open Sunday through Wednesday from 4-10 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday from 4-11 p.m.

Sungold

Sungold, located inside Arlo Williamsburg, is an ingredient-focused culinary concept by Chef Michael King, known for his signature approach to sustainable cuisine. Open for brunch, lunch and dinner, the neighborhood restaurant sources local and seasonal ingredients for its menu, consisting of handmade pasta, wood-fired pizza, a diverse selection of small plates, and shareable entrées. The name Sungold is inspired by the chef’s favorite tomato at the Union Square Greenmarket and evokes the team’s commitment to seasonality and the abundance of local farms in the Hudson Valley and beyond. The 60-seat dining room boasts exposed brick walls and eye-catching fixtures of individually hung pendant lights, while greenery accents liven up the space. Guests are welcome to dine in the neighboring lobby bar and lounge, featuring floor-to-ceiling brick walls with rotating art and plush velvet banquettes, or on the chic outdoor patio, with lush landscaping and views of vibrant Wythe Avenue. Sungold’s bar serves a menu of specialty libations by Armando Acevedo, who stands as the creative force behind the hotel’s mixology program.
