Katya Thompson is the Director of Design and co-founder of Artistic Elements, where thoughtful creativity, technical expertise, and refined execution come together to create exceptional interiors. Born and raised in Eastern Europe, Katya began her professional journey studying Civil Engineering—an educational foundation that continues to influence her structured, detail-driven approach to design.

After relocating to the United States, Katya discovered her true passion in Interior Design. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the University of Oklahoma and went on to build an impressive career designing retail environments for iconic global fashion brands including Fossil, BCBG, Guess, Marc Jacobs, and others. Her work has spanned major international markets across the U.S., Canada, London, Frankfurt, Singapore, and beyond, giving her a global perspective that informs every project she touches.

As a Registered Interior Designer, Katya later transitioned into high-end residential design, where her love for artistry and personal expression could fully flourish. Drawing inspiration from her Eastern European heritage and extensive world travels, she seamlessly blends architectural structure with layered artistic elements. Katya’s mission is simple yet powerful: to deliver designs that are uniquely tailored to each client’s aesthetic, lifestyle, and vision—creating spaces that feel both elevated and deeply personal.
