Salty attitudes of the dining sort are always welcome at Joliet, an exciting new seafood bistro and garden located on the Northwestern tracks of Miami’s South Beach, where the Venetian Way greets Lincoln Road at 1209 17th Street.  Joliet is the latest Miami-based dining establishment launched by Chris Hudnall and Randy Alonso of Lost Boy & Co. The casual, all-weekday, and weekend hang, entices diners with a menu created by Chef Juan Garrido inspired by the sweet, spicy, and soulful flavors that run deep throughout New Orleans’ cuisine. A seafood-forward menu makes way for guests to pull up a seat at the raw bar, enjoy late-night poolside snacks, or indulge in a weekend dinner with friends and family. Now, Joliet is pleased to announce the launch of a brand-new weekend brunch and a weekday power lunch.

Brunch lovers can flock to Joliet to enjoy Chef Juan Garrido’s bold, flavorful dishes for brunch. Standouts include BBQ Shrimp & Grits served New Orleans style with Worcestershire and garlic butter; Johnny Cakes – delicious cornmeal pancakes served with smoked lemon butter, seasonal jam, and maple syrup; Steak ‘n Eggs served with grilled skirt steak, fried egg, Joliet butter, herb salad, and crispy fries; a giant Cinnamon Roll with cream cheese glaze served tableside, graham cracker streusel, and coconut flakes; and the New Orleans inspired “Hot Brown” Toast made with oven roasted turkey, confit tomato, fried egg, and black pepper gravy. Joliet’s signature raw bar items, appetizers, and salads are also available. Boozy brunch offerings by the talented beverage team include Bloody Marys, Mimosas, French 75, Espresso Martinis; and more.  Brunch is available every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

In addition to brunch, this Miami Beach eatery’s bold, flavor Southern-inspired cuisine can now be enjoyed every Wednesday – Friday from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. Lunch offerings include the Joliet Club Sandwich made with a fried chicken cutlet, turkey, bacon, and pimento cheese; a succulent French Onion Burger served with a Wagyu beef patty, Comte cheese, and garlic mayonnaise on a brioche bun; Clam Pappardelle seven with sweet corn, pickled Fresno, Thai basil, and Calabrian chili breadcrumb; and Savoy Cabbage & Green Apple Salad with cornmeal fried rock shrimp, buttermilk dressing, ikura, and celery seed.
