The National Pancreas Foundation to Host IMAGINATION GALA

The National Pancreas Foundation (NPF) is hosting IMAGINATION GALA, an entertainment-packed fundraiser at The Breakers on Friday, March 3, 2023. “Attendees will enjoy an evening full of music, philanthropy and dancing as we bring back the top hits of the 70s, 80s & 90s that shaped the music industry as we know it,” promises Sarah Negrin, NPF’s National Director of Development. “We hope our friends and supporters will join us for this amazing night in support of people suffering from pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer.” In addition, a portion of the proceeds from IMAGINATION GALA will benefit the new Pancreas Institute at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center under the University of Miami Health System. Highlights of the black-tie event, generously sponsored by MicroSalt® will include: ** Cocktail Reception at The Breakers, Palm Beach starting at 6 pm with champagne, followed by the Main Reception at 7 pm with dinner & dancing. ** Entertainment by Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick of N’SYNC, the internationally popular boy band with such chart-topping hits as Bye Bye Bye, This I Promise You, Girlfriend, Pop, and It’s Gonna Be Me. ** Special Musical Guest Bret Michaels, frontman of the rock band Poison which sold over 50 million albums worldwide, and a solo artist who starred in VH1’s reality show Rock of Love, was a contestant on Celebrity Apprentice 3, and served as a judge on Nashville Star. ** Presentation of the 2023 Jon Stoll Spotlight Award, named after the legendary concert promoter and producer who passed away in 2008. ** A memorable Live Auction and an exciting “Call to the Heart” donation match. I'm humbled and excited to have been asked to be a part of this year’s National Pancreas Foundation event,” says singer Joey Fatone. “Reading stories on the NPF website about children like Jordan, who was just three years old when he was first diagnosed, really makes me want to spread the word and shine a light on pancreatic disease. When my manager first brought this offer to the table, he led with ‘these guys actually put the money they raise right back into the cause’—so it was a ‘no-brainer’ for me.” “All of us at MicroSalt® are extremely proud to partner with the National Pancreas Foundation,” says Rick Guiney, MicroSalt® CEO. “Both of our organizations are committed to helping people live a healthier life, by lowering sodium intake across the globe. NPF’s outstanding reputation and strong outreach into the medical community make this an ideal synergy for both organizations. We look forward to working together.” “Because there is a direct connection between the pancreas and diabetes, making a low-sodium diet particularly important, the National Pancreas Foundation is pleased to welcome MicroSalt® as a sponsor of this gala, and to partner with their ongoing effort to save lives and improve health,” adds Negrin. Additional sponsors to the 2023 IMAGINATION GALA are Vranken Pommery and the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.
