A Canadian electronic music producer and DJ, Deadmau5’s primary focus lies in the creation of progressive house and electro house music genres, although he is also active in producing and performing various other electronic music styles, including techno, where he goes by the name Testpilot. Zimmerman has earned six GRAMMY® Award nominations for his musical endeavors.
Throughout his career, Deadmau5 has collaborated with notable DJs and producers such as Kaskade, Wolfgang Gartner, Rob Swire, and Chris Lake. In 2007, he established his own record label, Mau5trap. At present, Deadmau5 is among the highest-earning electronic music producers globally and is recognized for his masked musical persona, similar to artists like Marshmello and Daft Punk.
