Café Boulud at the Brazilian Court Hotel in Palm Beach will host “An Evening in Italy,” a five-course wine dinner on Thursday, May 21, 2026, beginning at 7:00 PM. The evening traces the length of the Italian peninsula through a menu of regional dishes and carefully selected wine pairings.

The dinner is guided by Executive Chef Christopher Zabita, Pastry Chef Rosana Quintero, and Head Sommelier David Sauer, whose selections span some of Italy’s most celebrated wine regions, from the rolling hills of Franciacorta in Lombardy to the sun-drenched vineyards of Tuscany and the ancient terraces of Piemonte.

Guests will begin with cibo di strada featuring supplì, arrosticini, and bruschetta con acciughe, paired with Ca’ Del Bosco’s Franciacorta Cuvée Prestige NV. A second course of seppia alla griglia featuring cuttlefish, confit tomato, arugula pesto, and pickled ramps follows alongside Carratelli’s Vermentino Toscana 2023.

The pasta course brings a lasagna ai funghi with morels, parmigiano reggiano, aged balsamic, and summer truffle, paired with a rare magnum of La Piane’s Boca Piemonte 2007, one of northern Italy’s most storied appellations. For the main, a carne alla pizzaiola of ribeye with roasted peppers, oregano, and san marzano tomatoes is complemented by Orma’s Red Blend Toscana 2019.

The evening closes on a sweet note with torta ricotta e pesca, an almond biscuit with caramelized peaches, paired with Tessari’s Recioto di Soave “Tre Colli” 2015 from the Veneto. “An Evening in Italy” is priced at $195 per guest.
