Subaru of Pembroke Pines Partners with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to Bring Comfort to Cancer Patients
As part of its Subaru Loves to Care initiative, Subaru of Pembroke Pines partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® and Memorial Hospital West once again as part of the automaker’s annual Subaru Loves to Care initiative, donating blankets, care kits and messages of hope to patients undergoing cancer treatment.
On June 18, 2026, Subaru team members delivered blankets, care kits and handwritten “messages of hope” written by Subaru associates and customers to cancer patients at Memorial West Hospital. The donation included more than 80 blankets and 12 care kits containing socks, an eye mask, coloring books and a collapsable water bottle to provide comfort to those undergoing treatment. As part of Loves to Care month in June, Subaru of Pembroke Pines and its customers wrote “messages of hope” to provide encouragement to cancer patients and their families. Executives and nurses from Memorial Hospital West were present to accept the donation from Sales Manager Bryan Medina and several representatives from the Subaru of Pembroke Pines team.

“At Subaru of Pembroke Pines, caring for our community extends beyond the showroom,” said Bryan Medina, sales manager of Subaru of Pembroke Pines. “Through Subaru Loves to Care, we are proud to once again partner with Memorial Hospital West and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to provide encouragement and support to patients facing cancer treatment. We hope these blankets, care kits and messages of hope remind patients that they are supported by a community that cares.”
