Cj Hendry, the New York–based artist known for her hyperrealist drawings and immersive, color-driven installations, unveils her latest project — juju — in collaboration with Phillips. Launching on November 29 in Hong Kong, the partnership bridges fine art, design, and collectible culture, presenting a playful yet precisely crafted object that feels both personal and iconic.

juju marks Hendry’s first venture into collectible art toys — a soft-edged, single-eyed character she describes as “friend and muse.” The project extends her meticulous approach to form and texture beyond the paper surface, translating her emotional, hand-drawn sensibility into sculptural design.

Phillips Hong Kong will host a dedicated juju pop-up at its West Kowloon headquarters, where visitors can explore the collection in person. The series features eight edition sculptures, each limited to 100 pieces and priced around $629 USD, alongside 24 blind-boxed juju bag charms available for $24. Pieces will be sold through CjHendryStudio.com and select Phillips retail channels.

juju is where fine art meets collectible culture, and Phillips Hong Kong is the perfect stage to unveil this playful project on the cusp of the festive season,” said Christine Miele, Retail Sales Director of E-Commerce at Phillips.

With its debut on November 29, juju cements Hendry’s reputation for transforming fine art into tactile, emotionally resonant design.
