Ann Storck Center to Host 37th Annual Volleyball Challenge

Ann Storck Center – a Fort Lauderdale-based private nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities – is excited to host its 37th Annual Volleyball Challenge presented by CHEW (Custom Homes by Eddie Waters) on Saturday, June 10 at 270 N. Pompano Beach Blvd. in Pompano Beach. The community event will feature a fun-filled day of volleyball, a live DJ, a raffle, prizes, lunch, dinner, beverages, and more for a good cause. Co-ed 6’s volleyball teams are invited to participate in the beach volleyball tournament in open, competitive, or recreational divisions. Teams must consist of a minimum of six players and can be a maximum of eight players. Players under 18 years old must sign a waiver. Participants will also have the opportunity to enjoy an after-party on the rooftop of the Tru by Hilton Pompano Beach Pier. Sponsorship opportunities are available and range from $100 to $10,000. Individual tournament entry is available for $50 and registration for a team of eight is $400. Registration includes lunch and dinner. Proceeds benefit Ann Storck Center, which accommodates 96 permanent residents and serves more than 300 clients daily through an array of critical care, learning, and ability-focused programs. The 2023 Presenting Sponsor is CHEW (Custom Homes by Eddie Waters), and the Visor Sponsor is Parkshore Pharmacy. Beach House Pompano is the dinner sponsor.

Ann Storck Center – a Fort Lauderdale-based private nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching lives of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities – is excited to host its Deck The Volleyballs tournament on Saturday, Dec. 9 on Pompano Beach. All proceeds will go towards purchasing holiday gifts for the children and residents of Ann Storck Center. Participants may also bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate. The community event will feature a fun-filled day of volleyball, a raffle, prizes, lunch and more for a good cause. Co-ed 4’s volleyball teams are invited to participate in the beach volleyball tournament in competitive or recreational divisions. Teams must consist of a minimum of four players and can be a maximum of five players. Players under 18 years old must sign a waiver. Sponsorship opportunities are available and range from $100-$5,000. Individual tournament entry is a gift, a gift card or $50 entry fee per person. Registration includes lunch. Proceeds benefit Ann Storck Center, which accommodates 96 residents and serves more than 300 individuals daily through an array of critical care, learning and ability focused programs.
