Miso Glazed Cedar Plank Salmon

Miso Glazed Salmon Salad

This easy go-to recipe will become your favorite. This miso glazed salmon is packed with sweet and savory flavors.  The salmon will be moist and flaky. We like to serve it with a side of aromatic Jasmine Rice.

1 cedar planks (12 inches)
1 lb Salmon Fillet
1/2 cup of soy sauce
2 TBS White Miso Paste
3 TBS brown sugar
2 tsp of minced garlic
2 tsp of grated ginger
3 TBS of sesame seeds
2 TBS of sesame seed oil
Chopped green onions for garnish

Step 1: Soak the cedar plank in water for a minimum of 1 hour.
Step 2: Pre-heat oven 350F
Step 3: In a bowl combine: soy sauce, miso paste, sugar, garlic, ginger and sesame seed oil. Whisk until fully incorporated.
Step 4: Place Salmon on a baking dish and pour the sauce on top. Marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes up to 2 hours.
Step 5: Remove Salmon from the marinate removing excess liquid.
Step 6: Place the cedar plank on top of a baking sheet.
Step 7: Put your salmon on top of the cedar plank and add sesame seeds on top.
Step 8: Place salmon in the oven and bake for 20 minutes. Salmon is ready when it flakes easily.
Step 9: Sprinkle with green onions and serve.
Step 10: Enjoy!
