Michael Elkins, Esq., founder and partner at Fort Lauderdale-based MLE Law, was recently selected by his peers for inclusion in the 2024 edition of The Best Lawyers in America® in the fields of Employment Law – Individuals and Employment Law – Management. This is the second year that Elkins has been selected to The Best Lawyers in America.
Elkins is a 22-year labor and employment and sports law attorney at MLE Law, a full-service labor and employment, business and sports law firm in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He represents businesses, municipalities and individuals in labor and employment, business and sports matters; as well as provides outside General Counsel services (daily corporate advice, preparation and review of corporate documents, creation of corporate entities, merger and acquisition representation).
Elkins founded MLE Law to, among other things, modernize the business of law by providing alternative, concierge-style fee structures and does not charge clients for short phone calls, emails or text messages, encouraging a modern and collaborative approach without excessive cost. In addition, he is a national resource on labor and employment and sports law matters. Elkins recently purchased and renovated a new custom-designed headquarters for MLE Law in the heart of Fort Lauderdale within walking distance to the courthouse.
