Maserati is ushering its grand touring legacy into the electric era with the Maserati GranTurismo Folgore, a battery-powered coupe that combines the elegance and long-distance comfort of the iconic GranTurismo with cutting-edge performance. As Maserati continues to evolve its GranTurismo lineup, the latest Folgore showcases the Italian marque’s commitment to electrification without sacrificing the style, craftsmanship, and driving dynamics that have long defined the Trident badge.

The GranTurismo Folgore retains the model’s flowing proportions, now subtly evolved to support its electric architecture. Aerodynamic refinements, new wheel designs, and EV-specific detailing are paired with a cabin defined by upgraded digital interfaces, premium materials, and expanded personalization through the Fuoriserie program.

Underneath its sculpted bodywork sits Maserati’s advanced 800-volt BEV system. The tri-motor setup—one motor at the front and two decoupled motors at the rear—delivers more than 1,200 hp of peak output, with a sustained 760 hp directed to the wheels for continuous performance. This configuration enables surgical torque vectoring at the rear axle, while an AWD Disconnect system can physically disengage the front drive shafts in just 500 milliseconds, prioritizing rear-driven dynamics when desired.

Power is drawn from a 92.5-kWh battery pack using a “T-bone” structural layout that helps keep the vehicle’s height exceptionally low for an EV at 1,353 mm, preserving the GranTurismo’s sleek silhouette. Maserati’s updated energy management strategy contributes to a driving range of more than 540 km under optimal conditions, reinforcing its credentials as a long-range grand tourer.

Performance remains a core pillar of the experience, with the Folgore launching from 0–60 mph in approximately 2.7 seconds, placing it firmly among the most capable electric GTs in its class.
