J. Allen Design, founded by Justin Joy, is an award-winning full-service residential design studio based in South Florida. Specializing in high-end interiors, remodeling, and home construction, the firm creates spaces that are both sophisticated and deeply livable. Justin’s work is defined by meticulous attention to detail and a focus on designing interiors that foster comfort, ease, and a sense of renewal.

Before establishing J. Allen Design, Justin began designing, renovating, and flipping homes for friends and family across New York, South Florida, and Ohio in 2015. His early projects revealed a passion for creating spaces that feel effortlessly beautiful and inviting, blending refined design with everyday practicality.

A former marketing executive, Justin spent 20 years in experiential design and brand marketing, developing creative platforms for some of the world’s largest brands, including Google, YouTube, Procter & Gamble, and the United Nations. This background informs his approach to interior design, allowing him to combine creativity, strategy, and technical expertise in every project.

Justin holds a degree from Boston University and has also studied at The Wharton School of Business. He lives in Miami, Florida, with his husband and four children. His work has been featured in publications including Modern Luxury, Florida Design, and House & Garden, and has received awards such as Best Kitchen in Florida 2025 and recognition from Design 9 Modern Luxury.

Today, J. Allen Design focuses on transforming private residences into personalized sanctuaries, where every detail is thoughtfully curated to reflect the client’s lifestyle, personality, and aspirations. Through his design philosophy, Justin brings warmth, refinement, and a renewed sense of home to every project.
