Casa Sensei
Casa Sensei brilliantly blends traditional Latin American cuisine with Pan-Asian staples to create the best of both worlds. Voted “Best Asian Restaurant” by Fort Lauderdale Magazine in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023, this fusion eatery offers delectable dishes and handcrafted cocktails. Mango lovers can rejoice this season with Casa Sensei’s grilled-to-perfection Charred Octopus ($21), featuring grilled octopus with a papaya-mango salad drizzled with fresh basil vinaigrette. They can also sip on any of the restaurant’s mango-based cocktails, such as the Rock N Roll Spicy Mango Margarita ($16), featuring fresh mango purée, triple sec, jalapeños, orange juice, sour mix and a Tajín-spiced rim; The Diplomat ($14), featuring spiced rum, mango purée, tamarind pulp, grapefruit bitters and yuzu sake; and the Ocean Breeze Punch ($14), made with the in-house Rock N Roll mango tequila, melon liqueur, passion fruit, orange juice and raspberry purée.

Casa Sense offers the Rock N Roll Spicy Mango Margarita, featuring Fresh Mango Puree, Triple Sec, Jalapenos, Lime Juice, Mango Rock N Roll tequila – 100 ML bottle and a Togarashi Spiced rim.

Ingredients

.75 oz Fresh Mango PUree

.75 oz Triple Sec

1.5 oz Lime Juice

75 oz Simple Syrup

.5 Jalapeno, sliced

Togarashi Spice Rim

Mango Rock N Roll tequila – 100 ML bottle

Preparation

Combine the fresh mango puree, triple sec, sliced jalapenos, simple syrup and lime juice into a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake until mixed well and chilled. Rim a. chilled, tall glass with Togarashi seasoning. our the contents of the cocktail shaker into the glass. Garnish with a lime wheel, jalapeno and Mango Rock N Roll tequila – 100 ML

bottle. For those making it at home, use 1.5 oz of the tequila of your choice.

The Piano Bar at The Betsy Hotel
Nestled within The Betsy Hotel, The Piano Bar is a South Florida staple for jazz aficionados and foodies alike. Renowned for its nightly jazz programming, the bar is the perfect spot for guests to soak in the sounds of talented live musicians while enjoying classic cocktails and light bites. This spot celebrates Miami’s mango craze with the Mango Sunshine, a mango-flavored cocktail made with tequila, lime juice, agave, mango purée, yellow chartreuse, Benedictine and mint.

RECIPE

Ingredients

2 ounces – Tequila

0.75 ounces – Lime juice

0.25 ounces – Agave

1.5 ounces – Mango puree

0.25 ounces – Yellow chartreuse

0.25 ounces – Benedictine

5 mint leaves

Instructions

Place mint leaves in a shaker and muddle. Add remaining ingredients to the shaker and fill with ice. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Double strain the mixture with a chilled coupe, and pour into glass. Garnish the cocktail with a skewered cherry and a sprig of mint.

1.5 ounces of Maker’s Mark Bourbon

0.25 ounces of Campari

1 ounce of mango juice

Half an ounce of lemon juice

Preparation:

Mix well. Garnish with mint and a dried orange slice.
