Feeding South Florida® – the leading hunger-relief organization in South Florida – will host the “Wine and Bourbon Experience” at its Boynton Beach Warehouse on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 6-8 p.m.. The tasting event will raise awareness, funds and glasses for South Florida families facing food insecurity. Each ticket will include four tastings and appetizers. Guests will also enjoy live entertainment and have the opportunity to participate in a silent auction. Currently in South Florida, there are over 1.1 million food insecure individuals, and 1 in 9 individuals in South Florida remain uncertain about where they will get their next meal due to inflation, the strained supply chain, rising fuel prices and increased housing costs among other factors. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)’s Economic Research Service Household Food Security in the United States in 2022 Report, the number of people living in food insecure households in the United States in 2022 increased to 44 million, including 13 million children. This is an increase of more than 30% and 40% respectively from the previous year, the highest rate and number since 2014 and the largest one-year increase since 2008.

Miami’s secretive and unique Japanese interpretation, Nossa Omakase is hosting this one-night-only dinner on a rare Sunday, February 18th at 7 PM. Sushi and sake enthusiasts alike can delight in a 16-course omakase including pairings by renowned, IWA Sake. The sake is made by the former Master Brewer of Dom Pérignon, Richard Geoffroy. He became the fifth chef de cave for Dom Pérignon Champagne and charted the course of the legendary wine for 28 years. Guests will be able to experience this expressive and dynamic brew along with a carefully curated menu by Chef Sebastian Labno. It's been referred to as, "the quintessential example of the new frontiers of sake that are now very intertwined in the wine world." Nossa Omakase will be pouring four releases including a vintage varietal and Assemblage 1-4 (dated from 2019-2022). Guests receive a first taste of the 2022 as it has not been released to the public yet. The irresistible evening will include an opulent 16-course menu featuring an eclectic assortment of nigiris and small plates with lavish enhancements like caviar, truffles, uni and more. Special guests will be able to indulge in the delicate flavors and textures of premium sake varieties, perfectly complemented by the salty, popping bursts of caviar that will be included throughout the evening. Reservations can be made on TOCK. Seating is limited for this special edition dinner held at 7 PM. This experience will be priced at $495 per person which includes a welcome drink and sakes throughout the omakase.
