American Heritage Schools is conducting a national job search and inviting educators from throughout the country to attend its virtual “Job Fair and Free Continuing Education” webinar on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024, at 7 p.m. From the convenience of their homes, attendees will learn about job opportunities and the benefits of teaching at American Heritage Schools’ Broward Campus and Palm Beach Campus. During the webinar, participants will hear directly from the American Heritage Schools President Dr. Douglas Laurie about how the schools’ mentoring program supports educators in their professional growth. They will also earn 1.5 hours of continuing education credit offered by the Association of Independent Schools of Florida (AISF) by attending this insightful webinar featuring guest speaker Todd Nesloney – a nationally-recognized educator, award-winning author and two-time TEDx speaker.

American Heritage Schools to Host Virtual and In-Person Spring Open Houses for Broward and Palm Beach Campuses on Feb. 7 and Feb. 10

American Heritage Schools is hosting virtual and in-person spring open house events for prospective families who are interested in enrolling their children at its Broward or Palm Beach campuses. Each open house offers parents and children an opportunity to meet with the American Heritage Schools team, including the admissions directors, teachers, program directors and principals. The Palm Beach campus will host its open houses on Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 9:30 a.m. in person and on Saturday, Feb. 10 at 10 a.m. virtually. The Broward campus will host its open houses on Saturday, Feb. 10 at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. virtually. The spring open house events will start with a brief introduction from school administrators, then participants will have the opportunity to hear about American Heritage Schools’ extensive curriculum from the educators.

Heroes: A Benefit Concert for the Blind and Visually Impaired

American Heritage Schools, in partnership with Lighthouse of Broward, presents its fourth annual Heroes event, a fundraising concert and auction to benefit the blind and visually impaired in Broward County, at American Heritage Schools’ Center for the Arts auditorium, on Saturday, May 4 from 5-8 p.m. The event will be a speakeasy-themed soirée featuring singer Mitch Franco. The Lighthouse of Broward is the only private, non-profit organization in Broward County that provides comprehensive educational, rehabilitation, and counseling services to blind and visually impaired children and adults. Through their work, the Lighthouse of Broward enhances the lives of people who are blind and visually impaired in Broward County and empowers them to live independent, healthy, employed, and fulfilling lives. All of the funds from the benefit concert and auction will ensure that the Lighthouse of Broward can continue to provide vital services to over 2,590 people throughout Broward County each year. Attendees can enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres throughout the evening and participate in a live and silent auction benefiting the Lighthouse of Broward. Guests are encouraged to come dressed in their best Roaring Twenties ensemble. The presenting sponsor for this year’s event is American Heritage Schools. Gunther Motors is the gold sponsor. Bronze sponsors include Centennial Bank, Memorial Health System, Miller Construction, Jaguar Land Rover West Broward, McCullough & Leboff and BDO.
