Memorial Day in Bimini, Bahamas

Resorts World Bimini
Escape the Memorial Day crowds this year by visiting Bimini - the closest Bahamian island to the U.S. sitting just 50 miles off the coast of South Florida, yet one of The Bahamas’ best kept secrets. Considering its close proximity, traveling to the seven-mile-long island of Bimini is a breeze — and half the fun of the whole trip! For sea travel, groups can hop aboard the Balearia Caribbean Ferry from Fort Lauderdale, FL and arrive in Bimini in just two hours. When traveling via Balearia for Memorial Day, travelers can book the Sail With Balearia package starting at just $599 which includes roundtrip transportation and a 2-night stay at the resort's chic Hilton Hotel. At Resorts World Bimini, travelers will find a casino, incredible spa, four restaurants, and a Tulum-like day club. With so much to do on-property, guests may never want to leave; but should they get the inkling to head into the local town and explore, all they need is a golf cart rental from a local vendor. While driving through the small town, they can embark on an island-wide bar crawl, snack on famous Bahamian conch salad and fritters at Stuart’s or Joe’s Conch Shack along the way, visit the Gallant Lady shipwreck for over-the-top Instagram images, talk with local Ansil Saunders (who served as Martin Luther King Jr.’s tour guides during his many travels to Bimini), and stop at Radio Beach - the longest stretch of white sand on the island - to revitalize with a freshly-cut coconut in hand.

MY Self Wellness exists to assist and empower individuals on their health and wellness journey by combining the healing benefits of ketamine with new lifestyle practices for a full mental reset. The center offers an array of services, including ketamine therapy, IV Vitamin Infusions, Peptide Therapy, Medical Cannabis recommendations, Integrative Nutrition Services and counseling. MY Self Wellness has experience helping its clients get off pharmaceuticals and move past the symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, chronic pain and more. To date, it employs a team of 17 professionals who have helped over 1,500 individuals find healing through over 10,000 treatments.

The clinic encompasses a multidisciplinary group of psychiatrists, registered nurses, infusion specialists, and integration specialists. Ketamine is administered in a number of ways, including intravenous infusion (IV), intramuscular injection (IM), intranasally, orally and sublingually (as a dissolving troche or lozenge).

Knowing the strong transformations their clients have experienced as a result of psychedelic ketamine therapy, President and Co-Founder Christina Thomas and Chief Brand Ambassador and Co-Founder Charles Patti of MY Self Wellness founded the nonprofit Warriors of Consciousness in 2022, with the mission to help those who cannot afford psychedelic ketamine therapy treatments. Because ketamine therapy is not covered by insurance, they understand the importance of experiencing these transformations without financial restrictions. To date, Warriors of Consciousness has donated treatments to more than 90 individuals.

Timelessness: Old Masters, Modern + Contemporary Art Exhibition

Frascione Gallery 256 Worth Avenue, Via Amore, Suite O, Palm Beach, FL, United States
Frascione Gallery, founded in 1893 in Italy, presents its inaugural Palm Beach gallery exhibition featuring Old Masters, Contemporary, and Modern paintings and sculptures. Curated by Massimo Pulini in partnership with Aria Art Gallery (Florence), “Timelessness” explores how art transcends time and place. Art never ceases to tell different stories to everyone and this narrative is tied to a remote time and distant geography. The exhibition aims to serve as a laboratory for researching these connections, giving rise to dialectical forms between the past and present, near and remote. Exhibiting artists include: Girolamo Forabosco; Nicola Samori; Carlo Dolci; Ettore Frani; Giovanni Battista Vanni; Fabrizio Corneli; Master of the Scandicci Lamentation; Salustiano; Giuliano Bugiardini; Diango Hernandez; Benvenuto di Giovanni; Carole Feuerman; Evangelista di Pian di Meleto; and Michelangelo Bastiani. Frascione Gallery 256 Worth Avenue Via Amore, Suite O Palm Beach, FL 33480 Tuesday - Saturday, 10 am to 6 pm Sunday appointments upon request. +1.561.444.2092 frascione.com info@frascione.com
