Sexy Fish Miami is on a roll and is pleased to share the art of sushi making with our exclusive Sushi Master Class on Tuesday, June 18th, hosted by esteemed sushi chef Chef Yuki. This unique culinary experience ($195++ per person) offers an interactive look at the craft of sushi, led by a renowned sushi chef and an expert sommelier.

The evening will start with a welcome sake, followed by Sexy Fish’s expert sommelier, who will introduce guests to the world of sake, explaining its varieties and pairing possibilities. The class will begin with brief demonstrations, including fish cutting, where guests will learn about different types of fish and the use of the deba knife; nigiri making, where the chef will discuss historical nigiri styles, various cuts used, and the use of the Yanagi knife; and lastly, a maki making demonstration to master techniques for making uramaki, tekkamaki, and futomaki.

Guests will then be able to create their own maki rolls (two per person) to enjoy, along with a thoughtfully curated tasting menu and sake pairing. At the end of the evening, guests will depart with an in-depth knowledge of skills to take home, along with a stylish gift bag containing an apron, makisu (sushi rolling mat), and a sake cup.
