Abandoned Pet Rescue’s Beer Label Contest 2024

What's Brewin': Abandoned Pet Rescue is partnering with Gulf Stream Brewing Company to launch the limited-edition "Four-Legged Lager" which could feature YOUR DOG or CAT! Just submit a picture of your dog or cat in APR's Beer Label Contest and start collecting votes by sharing with your friends, family, co-workers and anyone else who loves animals or beer. Proceeds from the contest and the "Four-Legged Lager" beer sales will support the abandoned pets of Fort Lauderdale's no-kill animal shelter. Following the contest, a launch party will be planned at Gulf Stream Brewery in Fort Lauderdale to cheers the winners and enjoy the beer! How does it work? Pet owners are invited to submit a photo of their dog or cat or an APR adoptable dog or cat. Submit your photos until Sunday, May 12, 2024 at 11:59PM. A $10 donation per image is required for entry. Votes are $1 per vote with minimum of five votes. Limit of one dog or cat per photo. You are welcome to submit multiple pets individually. People are not allowed in the photos. Get your family, friends, co-workers, neighbors to vote for your dog or cat. THE TOP CAT PHOTO AND THE TOP DOG PHOTO with the most votes will be featured on specially-designed beer label for a limited-edition beer at Gulf Stream Brewery. Plays of Wilton (POW!) and Ronnie Larsen Presents will present the World Premier of Erin K. Considine’s “Family Tree” a The Foundry beginning on April 18, 2024. This family drama tells the story of Isabella losing herself to Alzheimer’s. She struggles to communicate with her children. Her communication comes in repetitive stops and starts, leaving her children to untangle the roots t of their past in order to make some weighted decisions bout their future. Is a fresh start possible when the old growth has been gnarled and broken away? A family drama that is as much about conflict as it is humor and tenderness. A gay son, Gavin, returns home at the behest of his sister, Calista, to find their mother is slipping away. The siblings rehash old hurts and reveal new secrets. The production stars Carbonell winning actors, Lindsey Corey, Bruce Linser and Elizabeth Dimon. Taking the helm is Carbonell award winning director, Margaret Ledford and stage manager, Amanda Ortega. “POW! is excited to welcome Lindsey, Elizabeth, Margaret and Amanda as first time members to The Foundry and POW! family”, said Ronnie Larsen, founder and Artistic Director. Bruce returns to POW! after directing the sold out production of Dan Clancy’s “108 Waverly”. Margaret Ledford stated that she is excited to finally work with Ronnie Larsen at POW! This makes it so successful and incredibly inviting and enticing, encouraging professionals to work at POW! and be involved with powerful and different stories and storytelling. “Family Tree” has its first performance on Thursday April 18, 2024 and runs Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 PM and Sundays at 3PM through May 12, 2024.
