    Community-Based Connections, Inc. (CBCI), a nonprofit organization dedicated to delivering youth development, family strengthening, and community empowerment services to underserved populations, will present Fatherhood Week 2026, a multi-day community initiative taking place June 16–18 throughout Palm Beach County. In recognition of Father’s Day, the community program is centered around the theme Fathers, Faith & Family. The impactful initiative will provide fathers, father figures, and men throughout Broward with opportunities to engage in conversations focused on mental health awareness, economic empowerment, family connection, domestic violence awareness, mentorship, and community support. It will focus on healing through shared experiences to break generational trauma, promote brotherhood and accountability, and build stronger support systems for fathers and families. The initiative serves as an extension of CBCI’s nationally recognized fatherhood program, Awesome Dads Awesome Men (A.D.A.M.), a mentoring program funded by the Jim Moran Foundation for fathers and men. The program takes an evidence-based approach, recognizing the needs of fathers - helping them strengthen family relationships, improve parenting skills, increase economic stability, and become more actively engaged in the lives of their children. They’ll even engineer a coral nursery that is resilient to weather fluctuations. Children will explore different cultures around the world and create an art piece with diverse cultural influences. South Florida’s award-winning attraction featuring 150,000 square feet of dynamic science exhibits, an outdoor science park, a live animal collection, a rotating schedule of science shows, learning labs, café, store and a grand atrium featuring the Great Gravity Clock, a 52-foot-tall kinetic energy sculpture; the largest clock in Florida.
