‘Tis the season to toast! Ann Storck Center – a Fort Lauderdale-based private nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities – is toasting to a successful 2024 holiday season. Ann Storck Center accommodates ninety-six residents and serves more than 300 individuals daily through an array of critical care, learning and ability-focused programs.

To make the holidays brighter, Ann Storck Center is offering the community ways to give back this holiday season.

Livia Bar & Grill Friend-Raiser | Thursday, Nov. 14 through Wednesday, Dec. 25, 5 to 10 p.m.

Ann Storck Center is partnering with Livia Bar & Grill to spread holiday cheer! From Thursday, Nov. 14, through Wednesday, Dec. 25, from 5 to 10 p.m., Livia Bar & Grill is donating a percentage of proceeds from its sales to Ann Storck Center. Guests are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to place under the tree to receive a complimentary drink. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in a raffle for a $200 Livia Bar & Grill gift card.

Livia Bar & Grill is a modern Italian eatery serving elevated dishes, cocktails and wine. Located in the heart of the vibrant Flagler Village area of Fort Lauderdale, enjoy delicious food, fancy cocktails, and scenic live music.

In the spirit of the holiday season, Craig Zinn Automotive Group is once again collecting new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages at all six of its locations through Friday, Dec. 13. All donations to the toy drive will support Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital. Donations may be dropped off during operating hours at any of the six Craig Zinn Automotive Group locations including, Toyota of Hollywood, Lexus of Pembroke Pines, Lexus of North Miami, Acura of Pembroke Pines, Subaru of Pembroke Pines and Amazinn Used Cars. The holiday toy drive is one of many Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital initiatives supported by the Craig Zinn Automotive Group to make the community a better place for all. Deck the Volleyballs Tournament | Saturday, Dec. 21

Jingle all the way to the beach! Ann Storck Center is excited to host its Deck The Volleyballs tournament on Saturday, Dec. 21, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Pompano Beach. All proceeds will go towards purchasing holiday gifts for the children and residents of Ann Storck Center. Participants may also bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate.

The community event will feature a fun-filled day of volleyball, a raffle, prizes, lunch and more for a good cause. Co-ed 4’s volleyball teams are invited to participate in the beach volleyball tournament in competitive or recreational divisions. Teams must consist of a minimum of four players and can be a maximum of five players. Players under 18 years old must sign a waiver.

Sponsorship opportunities are available and range from $100-$5,000. Individual tournament entry is a gift card (recommended $50) or a $50 entry fee per person. Registration includes lunch and a t-shirt.
