Meet Camila Crispino
Principal Interior Designer
Luxury Guide Design Curator

In the world of interior design, some spaces simply look good—others tell stories. For Camila Crispino, every project is a narrative woven from culture, travel, art, and an enduring belief that beauty should be accessible to all.

Born in São Paulo, Brazil, and shaped by her Lebanese and Italian heritage, Camila’s approach to design is rooted in warmth, hospitality, and timeless elegance. Her early years were infused with the vibrant textures, colors, and contrasts of a multicultural city—elements that continue to define her aesthetic today.

A polyglot fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, and English, Camila has lived across Latin America and beyond, drawing inspiration from each place she’s called home. These global experiences—paired with her formal education in Fine Arts and Interior Design—fuel her distinctive ability to blend authenticity with sophistication.

Camila’s career in the luxury industry refined her instinct for balancing form and function, allowing her to craft spaces that are both elevated and livable. Her boutique Miami-based firm, C2 Creative Concepts Interiors, reflects this vision: where layered textures, bold prints, and intentional design come together to create homes with soul.

“I believe the time to create beauty is always now,” she says. And with each project, she invites clients to see their space as a canvas—full of possibility, meaning, and emotion.

For Camila, true luxury lies not just in what you see—but in how it makes you feel.

A CONVERSATION WITH CAMILA
We recently sat down with Camila, and she shared her journey, insights, and practical advice for homeowners and design lovers alike.

PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL JOURNEY

What inspired you to become an interior designer?
I was inspired to become an interior designer by my fascination with how spaces influence how we feel and live. Growing up, I was always drawn to colors, textures, and the way light transforms a room. I realized early on that thoughtful design has the power to create comfort, joy, and even a sense of connection to nature or culture. For me, it’s not just about aesthetics—it’s about crafting environments that tell a story and enhance people’s everyday lives.

Can you share a pivotal moment or project that shaped your career?
A new construction project that involved an immersive trip to Mexico—soaking in the culture and embracing every element into the design—was a turning point for me.

How would you describe your design style in three words?
Effortless, electric, timeless.

What do you enjoy most about the design process?
Going deep into clients’ wants and needs, exploring endless possibilities, and mixing elements to create a unique project that checks all the boxes.

DESIGN PREFERENCES

What types of projects or clients do you gravitate toward most?
I welcome all types of clients. My out-of-the-box approach often attracts adventurous projects, but as a designer, my job is to guide clients through a vision and build connection and trust.

What’s one design element you often find yourself returning to?
Eclectic combinations—mixing styles, unexpected colors, materials, and bold accents are always magnetic to me.

How do you stay inspired—any favorite sources of creativity or trends?
I stay current not only with what’s happening in the design world but also by paying attention to broader cultural and global shifts. Today, we’re seeing a desire for connection, grounding, and mindfulness, which is bringing earthy, organic elements to the forefront of design.

What’s a common design mistake you often see—and how do you fix it?
Scale, proportion, and lack of layers. Having a plan, hiring a skilled designer, and knowing your proportions are the keys to making a space feel right.

DESIGN TIPS FOR THE HOMEOWNER

What are your favorite go-to paint colors?
Anything warm—who wants a cold and stale space? Creamy whites, soothing greens, or that daring shade that really speaks to you are what make a space yours.

What’s one design element every home should have?
Natural woods and greenery. Rugs, wallpapers, and textiles also add important layers.

What are some easy ways to update a room without too much renovation?
Lighting! Switch cold bulbs for warm ones, layer overhead, task, and accent lighting.

What materials do you gravitate toward most?
Anything natural—linens, warm woods. Nature is never wrong.

What design upgrades add the most value to a home?
Kitchens and bathrooms. They’re costly to design, but when done right with timeless materials, they are the deal-makers.

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone designing or refreshing their home?
Besides hiring a professional—who can manage costs, expectations, and resources—don’t follow trends blindly. Don’t hire solely on numbers. Invest in timeless, quality materials as a base and have fun experimenting as you evolve.

What does luxury mean to you when it comes to design?
Luxury is about exclusivity and value, not a price tag. A space should feel like a sanctuary that speaks to you and evokes emotion. Good materials, craftsmanship, and a trained eye to blend elements are the keys to creating a truly unique home.

PROJECT SPOTLIGHT

Can you share one of your favorite projects?
One standout element I love from this project below, is the sculptural white curved sofa—its organic shape softens the clean architectural lines of the high-rise space, and its textured fabric adds a tactile warmth that contrasts beautifully with the sleek chrome pendants and glass backdrop. Contrast colors, amber hues, leather, and reflective surfaces brought richness and depth to this home designed for a bachelor client.
