ORIGIN & INSPIRATION

Where are you from?
I am from Venezuela.

Has your cultural background or personal upbringing influenced your design approach—and if so, how?
Yes, absolutely. My latin roots deeply influences my design approach, I grew up in homes where family, warmth, and connection were everything, so I naturally design spaces that feel inviting, and emotionally grounded.

How did you get started in design?
I began my career in design through personal experience. Having moved many times, I learned how essential it is to create a home that feels personal, no matter the location. What started as a way to build belonging for myself became a passion for helping others achieve the same. I decided to go to school to prepare myself and become a professional in interior design. Today, my work focuses on creating spaces that reflect identity, stability, and a true sense of home.

What first sparked your love of design—was it a person, a place, or a moment?
My love for design was sparked by the emotional impact a space can have.As I moved frequently throughout my life, I began intentionally shaping each new space to feel like home. That process made me realize design isn’t just visual, it’s transformative. Creating beauty with purpose became something I didn’t just enjoy, but something I deeply value.

If you weren’t an interior designer, what would you be doing instead?
If I weren’t pursuing interior design, probably I would continue practicing dentistry with a strong focus on aesthetic dentistry. Enhancing a smile is not just a technical procedure, it is also about confidence, and how you present yourself to the world. Whether through designing a space or smile, what truly motivates me is creating transformation that feels both beautiful and meaningful.

SIGNATURE STYLE & PHILOSOPHY

How would you describe your signature style in three words?
Sophisticated, grounded and inviting.

What’s the one design rule you always follow?
One of the design rules I always follow is that space must feel as good as its looks. Beauty without comfort or function is incomplete. Every project begins with understanding how my client lives, their lifestyles because design should support life, not just decorate it.

And equally, what’s one design “rule” you love to break?
A design rule I love to break is the idea that everything has to be perfectly matched and symmetrical.  I believe spaces feel more authentic when they are layered, mixing textures, finishes and shapes.

How do you make a home feel both beautiful and livable?
I make a home feel beautiful and livable by designing around real life first. Creating a sense of home not copying a showroom or model home.. I start with how my clients move through their day, where they gathered, where they need calm following their own taste preference. Then I layer beauty into that foundation. Comfortable seating, thoughtful lighting, durable materials and meaningful details create a space that feels elevated but never untouchable. A home should invite you in, not intimidate you. For me livable luxury is the balance between elegance and function, a space that looks professionally designed, but feels completely natural to live in.

What color or material are you obsessed with right now?
Right now, I am obsessed with warm earthy neutral tones, creams and clay tones, because they are grounded but still sophisticated. Material wise, I am loving natural stone, like marble veining, organic texture brings so much overwhelming space, I also love  woods and brushed brass finish that add richness and timeless to the design.

What’s your favorite room in a home to transform, and why?
One of my favorite spaces to transform is the entrance, because it’s the first impression of a home, the moment that sets the tone for everything that follows.I love creating that wow factor, but in a way that still feels intentional and welcoming. The entrance is a preview of the story inside, It’s definitely a statement of your home, an impression that lasts forever.

If budget weren’t a factor, what is the one room or piece you like to splurge on?
For sure, a kitchen! Because, the kitchen is the area where design, function and craftsmanship truly meet. I would invest in custom millwork, natural stone creating a beautiful statement, layered lighting, first class appliances to provide the best to these wonderful spaces that daily carries family meals and celebrations. When a kitchen is designed at the highest level elevates the entire home.

What is one lesson you learned from a difficult project?
One of the biggest lessons I learned is the importance of good communication with your client from the beginning. Also, I learned that challenges are often where the best growth happens, difficult projects push you to be more detailed, patient and more solution oriented.
