Overlooking a private lake and zen gardens, the museum's celebrated Pan-Asian restaurant, Cornell Café, will feature a tender, slow-roasted duck ($29) glazed with a citrus-orange sauce and served with fluffy cilantro-infused rice and a handpicked vegetable medley. Feeling festive? Raise a toast to Dad with cold Sapporo beer specials, available two for $10. After lunch, families can stroll through Morikami’s six distinct Japanese gardens, explore the museum's cultural exhibits, and enjoy spending quality time with dad.     Step into a breathtaking Sunset Stroll at the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens in Delray Beach on Thursday, June 18th, from 5:30-8 p.m. Sunset Stroll will feature bento box demonstrations with Rikiya Kawano. Guests will observe a live bento-making demonstration, learn step-by-step techniques for creating character-inspired designs using simple ingredients, and take part in an interactive Q&A session to explore how food, art, and Japanese culture come together in this creative practice. Highlights include live taiko drumming by Fushu Daiko, South Florida’s premier Japanese taiko ensemble, celebrating over 35 years of performance. Their high-energy shows will take place on the Terrace. Guests can also enjoy koto performances by Emiko Koto in the Sakai Room. Additional highlights include Asian-inspired cuisine and refreshments from Cornell Café, Niigata Sake, Kaminari Ramen, and Akiko-ya Japanese Sweets, showcasing traditional confections. Cost is $5 for members (Children 17 & under: Free) and $12 for general admission (Children 6-17 years: $7; Children 0-5 years: Free). Space is limited. Please note: This is a Rain or Shine event.
