On Monday, July 6, and every Monday in July thereafter from 6PM to 8PM, Noche de Arte will continue its weekly art residency, featuring local artist Emily Peters. Peters is a sustainable artist and musician specializing in fiber, metal, and sound art. She was born in Wisconsin and has lived and worked in Miami, Florida, for nearly twenty years. Emily constructs works using discarded materials and non-toxic, earth-friendly methods, and composes soundscapes that are heavily influenced by nature and self-inquiry.
