Treat Mom To The Best Of Italian Cuisine With a Special Mother’s Day Sunday Brunch at Zucca

Housed on the ground floor of the landmark Hotel St. Michel in Coral Gables, Zucca serves authentic Italian fare and an award-winning wine list in a modern, comfortable setting. The restaurant is known as a spot for family gatherings and elegant romantic dining, as well as a destination for business meals and happy hour. 


This year, Zucca will celebrate Mother’s Day with a special prix-fixe brunch feast for $59 a person, which will be served from noon to 4 p.m. For the digital version of the menu, please click HERE


The Italian-inspired mid-day menu includes six signature appetizers, including Crudo di Pesce Del Giorno, fresh raw fish of the day marinated with lemon and fresh herb vinaigrette; Vitello Tonato, a starter of thinly sliced veal tenderloin cooked with sous vide technique served over a tuna emulsion spread with capers and microgreens; and Gamberone in Pasta Fillo Con Riso Venere e Crema di Avocado, a dish of prawns wrapped in phyllo pastry with organic black rice “Venere” and avocado emulsion.


Guests will also enjoy a choice of main course, such as French Toast Zabaione with Orange Zabaione and Eggs Benedict with Prosciutto and Formaggio and Parmigiano Fonduta.  Heartier options on the menu include Tagliatone with Bolognese Sauce pasta and Grilled Mediterranean Seabass, served with sauteed organic vegetables. 


The meal ends with a choice of dessert, a sweet ending of Homemade Classic Italian Tiramisu or Gelato Artigianale, an option of vanilla, chocolate, pistachio or raspberry sorbet. 


To complement the feast, wine options by the bottle or glass from Zucca’s award-winning list of more than 2,000 labels will be available, as well as bottomless choices of Prosecco, Mimosa or Beillini, available for $20/hour for a maximum for two hours.  each.
