The LOOP to Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and Healthy Aging Month – September-October
Building off its four pillars of engagement, “F.A.M.E.,” and its mission to provide “Infinite Experience for Everyone Under the Sun,” The LOOP will commemorate Hispanic Heritage Month and Healthy Aging Month with a series of events.
Celebrated in the United States annually from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15, National Hispanic Heritage Month pays tribute to the generations of Hispanic Americans who have positively influenced and enriched the nation and society. Recognizing the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America, The LOOP’s month-long celebration will feature profiles of the people behind the small businesses that participate in their weekend markets and share recipes to bring a taste of Hispanic culture home.
The free, family-friendly Hispanic Heritage Month celebration will showcase Hispanic food, art, music and entertainment. All festivities will unfold during the weekend MKT, which takes place every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The full list of The MKT’s Hispanic vendors along with profiles, can be viewed at https://theloopflb.com/hispanic-heritage-month-2024/.
Every Saturday from Sept. 22 to Oct. 12, The LOOP will feature a Latin foods sampling station from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Each Sunday from Sept. 23 to Oct. 13 from 12 to 3 p.m., guests can enjoy live performances from various Hispanic musicians and bands. Attendees are invited to relax at one of the tables under the shaded canopies and umbrellas to enjoy the rotation of live music while they shop and stroll The MKT vendors.
