On the evening of April 27, the Friends of Jack & Jill Center hosted its renowned signature event, the 19th Annual Pediatrix Flip Flops on the Docks, at the stunning Lauderdale Yacht Club. More than 425 of South Florida’s top community leaders, philanthropists and influencers were among the guests who attended the casual soirée, raising over $400,000 to support Jack & Jill Center’s mission to strengthen children and families through innovative education, supportive programming and community engagement.

The scenic Intracoastal Waterway and the vibrant beach décor created the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable evening. During Flip Flops on the Docks, guests enjoyed tropical-inspired drinks, food and live music by the Marcia Mitchell Band. Supporters also had the opportunity to bid on luxurious items in live and silent auctions including high-end items and exceptional luxury experiences ranging from elegant jewelry, memorabilia, lifestyle experiences, unique travel opportunities, Taylor Swift concert tickets and more.

“We’re incredibly grateful for all of those who joined us at our Annual Pediatrix Flip Flops on the Docks at the gorgeous Lauderdale Yacht Club to support Jack & Jill Center’s children and families in need,” said Heather Siskind, CEO of Jack & Jill Center. “The fun-filled evening wouldn’t be possible without our co-chairs Elizabeth and Randi, our board members, sponsors and donors who are committed to our mission.”

Jack & Jill Center supports children of high need working families through quality early childhood education, elementary education, family strengthening program and HEALTH Program to ensure every child and family has the tools they need to be successful. Jack & Jill Center has served 30,000 children and families in South Florida since 1942.

Since it was established in 1999, The Friends of Jack & Jill Center has raised over $5.8 million and volunteered countless hours to improve the lives of the Center’s children and families.

The event was graciously co-chaired by Elizabeth Lowsky and Randi Schwartz. The Friends of Jack & Jill Center thank the sponsors for their generous support. Pediatrix served as the event’s Title Sponsor. The Lauderdale Yacht Club member sponsors were Maria and Kyle Meyer.
