Taco Time: Savor Every Bite at Tacocraft Taqueria
West Broward has gotten a little spicier as Tacocraft Taqueria & Tequila Bar Coral Springs. The fourth South Florida location for Handcrafted Hospitality Group’s (HHG) powerhouse modern day cantina, the Coral Springs location will be the largest in the family (4,500-square-feet) with seating for 200. Featuring comfortably chic indoor and breezy outdoor spaces, Tacocraft Coral Springs is bringing the energy and excitement it’s known for to West Broward; located at 3240 North University Drive, the restaurant and bustling bar is sure to give locals plenty of reasons to stay west of I-95 in search of great food, drink and frivolity.
Home to elevated Mexican fare, flawless margaritas and an energetic vibe that has made it one of South Florida’s hottest restaurant concepts, the opening of Tacocraft Coral Springs will also signal the unveil of a concept-wide new beverage program; featuring a trio of creative new margaritas and a quartet of new signature cocktails. “Part of Tacocraft’s success has been keeping things fresh and making sure there’s always something new and delicious to discover,” says HHG owner/founder restaurateur Marc Falsetto, who co-owns the Tacocraft concept with partners Anthony Bruno, Pat Marzano, Dan Marino and South Florida Miami radio personality Paul Castronovo. “We’ve been waiting for the right moment to rollout the new beverage program and the opening of our new Coral Springs restaurant was the perfect opportunity.”
New margaritas, found nestled among a bevy of remaining fan favorites, include Blood Orange; Coconut and an intriguing Matcha Latte, made with Flecha Azul Blanco tequila, matcha latte, fresh lime juice, agave nectar and a sugared matcha rim. Standouts of new cocktails include the Tulum Refresher – Cantina Verde gin, St. Germain, lemon, simple syrup and muddled cucumber – and the aptly-named Mango Mezcal Jalapeño – Dos Hombres mezcal, mango Liquid Alchemist, fresh lime juice, muddled jalapeño and a tajin rim.
Just like its sister locations in Fort Lauderdale, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea and Plantation, Tacocraft Coral Springs will also be known for the brand’s famous weekly Taco Tuesday celebration, featuring $4 tacos and $8 house margaritas all-day long, as well as its killer Happy Hour with discounted margaritas, beer, wine and snacks Monday through Friday (bar only) plus a raucous Weekend Brunch with bottomless spritzes, mimosas and sangria.
The eatery’s vibrant menu is created by Robbyns Martinez, Corporate Chef of Handcrafted Hospitality. The menu will offer an explosion of flavor with highlights including four specialty guacamoles plus a Guacamole Flight featuring the Classic, Tropical, Sweet Potato and Bacon & Corn guacamoles; snacks like Tuna Poke Tacos, Oxtail Empanadas, Mexican Wings, Elote “Street Corn”, and the concept’s stack of Famous Ultimate Nachos.
