Osaka Nikkei, tucked into Miami’s bustling Brickell neighborhood, has just launched a new vegetarian menu, fit for any type of eater. The “Bejitarian” menu combines the best of Osaka’s nikkei techniques and Japanese-Peruvian flavors in two delicious categories: Nikkei Bar and Izakaya.
Nikkei Bar offerings include the Aka Tiradito, made with smoked beets, rocoto emulsion, almonds, and capers; the Sandia Ceviche with pickled watermelon, yuzu ponzu, and crispy quinoa, and an array of plant-based nigiris featuring sweet potato, roasted eggplant, and watermelon.
Dive into the world of Izakaya with choices like classic spicy edamame and shishito brasa or the Tumo Karifawa, a crispy cauliflower with sweet citrus sauce, and scallion; Hongos Teppan, stir fried mushrooms, with ginger, togarashi butter, and truffle oil; or Yasai Meshi, a smoked eggplant rice with aji amarillo, trumpet mushroom, and avocad
