Terra and One Thousand Group — the powerhouse development duo behind Villa Miami, the first-ever luxury condominium tower branded by hospitality icon Major Food Group (MFG) — announce the sale of a residence to professional basketball player Brandon Knight. The news comes as construction momentum builds, with Villa now rising vertically following its recent concrete pour and foundation completion.

Knight, an NBA point guard and South Florida native, purchased a half-floor residence totaling 3,302 square feet, including three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a powder room, and two private terraces. The home offers interior space between 2,936 and 2,972 square feet, with exterior areas spanning 297 to 350 square feet. The residence is located in a waterfront tower set to rise 650 feet above East Edgewater’s exclusive bayfront. Design highlights include panoramic ocean and bay views, floor-to-ceiling windows, sunrise and sunset terraces, custom millwork by Charles & Co., chef’s kitchens curated by Mario Carbone, Italian cabinetry, built-in wine storage, and more. Residences at Villa Miami start at $5.5 million and range from 3,000 to over 6,000 square feet.

“I was drawn to the lifestyle at Villa, not just the architecture and location, but the service and hospitality behind it,” said Knight. “Having Major Food Group downstairs and involved in every detail of the resident experience makes this unlike anything else in Miami.”

Villa introduces a limited collection of just 70 half- and full-floor homes designed to evoke estate-style living in the sky. Located at 710 NE 29th Street, the copper-clad, 56-story tower blends land, air, and sea with an onsite private dock, rooftop helipad, and sweeping views of Biscayne Bay. Delivery is slated for 2027.

“With just 70 residences, Villa Miami offers an intimate, estate-style living experience that redefines what it means to live in the sky,” said David Martin, CEO of Terra. “We’ve created a sense of privacy and exclusivity where every home is elevated, and the social spaces feel like a seamless extension of your personal sanctuary.”

At the core of Villa’s lifestyle is The Copper Club, a three-story private club exclusively for residents that redefines the standard for residential amenities. Designed by Charles & Co. in collaboration with Major Food Group, the club offers curated spaces for dining, entertainment, wellness and socializing, including private dining rooms, lounges, a screening room, hair salon, rooftop pool deck, yacht club, and wellness facilities.

“The market has been craving a residential product that truly raises the bar, and Villa delivers on every front,” said Sari Libbin Shapiro, Sales Executive at Villa Miami who represented the development. “From the brand power of Major Food Group to the level of service and design, this is a completely unprecedented offering. Buyers instantly recognize the value of a lifestyle that blends estate-style living with world-class hospitality.” She worked alongside Rob Hite, who represented Knight.

Villa’s spa and wellness amenities are inspired by the thermal retreats of Ischia, Italy, and include marble plunge pools, herbal steam rooms, private treatment suites, yoga and boxing studios, and a fully equipped fitness center. The outdoor pool deck, serviced by MFG-trained hospitality teams, completes the resort-style living experience.

The tower also marks Charles’ debut Miami condominium project, renowned for her exceptional work with A-list celebrity clients and bespoke estates across the globe. Drawing inspiration from mid-century Italian villas, the flow of the bay outside and Miami’s colorful energy. The interiors flow with warm woods, curving furniture and ambient lighting.
