Princess Mundo Imperial, a legendary landmark in Acapulco, proudly announces its grand reopening. With a strategic investment of over $120 million, this transformation not only revitalizes one of Mexico’s most iconic resorts but also reaffirms Mundo Imperial’s commitment to the resurgence of Acapulco as a premier global destination.

Princess Mundo Imperial is offering a redefined luxury experience, seamlessly blending state-of-the-art renovations with design elements that honor its rich history while embracing a forward-thinking vision. Extensive reforestation and landscaping initiatives have transformed the hotel’s lush surroundings and enhanced its natural beauty by adding new plant species, flowers, and palm trees. The iconic Pyramid Tower has been reimagined, and now features an Executive Lounge on the 20th floor, designed to offer premium experiences to guests. The well-known Princess Tower has now evolved into Princess Tower  Vacation Club, offering a luxury apartment style concept designed for extended vacations and long-term stay. Additionally, the hotel’s lobby has been redesigned by Rábago Arquitectos & Consultores (RACO), paying homage to the original 1970s Princess while infusing a modern and sophisticated touch.

The reopening also marked the launch of Princess Mundo Imperial’s revolutionized dining scene with the debut of two internationally renowned restaurants. Chef Carlos Gaytán, the first Mexican to earn a Michelin star, brings his contemporary culinary expertise to a brand-new dining concept, while Chef Paolo Miano, arriving directly from Florence, introduces an authentic Mediterranean experience through his Italian cuisine.

Princess Mundo Imperial has played a pivotal role in shaping Acapulco’s global reputation, serving as the backdrop for prestigious events like the Mexican Open Tennis Tournament and the exclusive Fiesta de Blanco.
