For the month of October, Mandarin Oriental, Miami is partnering with Susan G. Komen Foundation in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A variety of pink themed food and beverage specials will be running all month long throughout the hotel, with a percentage of proceeds from these experiences being donated to the foundation at the end of the month. La Mar by Gaston Acurio will offer its signature ‘Pink Causa for a Cause’ for a limited-time, featuring a ribbon-shaped terrine of potato purée with a pink tint, elegantly layered with crabmeat, sunchokes, Peruvian trout, shrimp cocktail, avocado, smoked trout roe, and a rich huancaina sauce, crafted by Executive Chef Diego Oka. Visit MO Bar + Lounge and enjoy signature, limited-time specials including the Girl from Ipanema ($14) a mocktail featuring açaí and raspberry; the Luck be a Lady ($23) a cocktail, made with Hendrick’s Gin, jalapeño, and Crème de Violette; and the Pink Lady Sushi Roll ($18) a specialty roll featuring pink sushi rice paired with carrot, mango, fresh asparagus, and portabella mushroom, all drizzled with a spicy yuzu sauce and topped with pink tempura flakes. Guests are invited to savor the special combo offer of 1 Pink Lady Sushi Roll, 1 Lychee Panna Cotta dessert, and choice of 1 Girl from Ipanema Mocktail or 1 Luck be a Lady cocktail, priced at $45.
