Maison Solís, founded by renowned wine and spirits industry expert Joseph D. Solís, proudly announces the debut of the world’s first agave-inspired niche fragrance line on National Tequila Day. This innovative collection pays homage to Solís’ cultural connection to agave, his Mexican Chicano roots and 25 years in the tequila space, celebrating his heritage through the art of scent.

 

Inspired by the rich cultural significance of agave and its transformative journey into tequila, each fragrance in the collection — Blanco, Reposado, and Añejo — encapsulates the essence of these distinct expressions. Joseph D. Solís collaborated closely with an esteemed fragrance consultant, Ethan Turner, an African American sommelier turned perfumer, to meticulously craft each scent, deconstructing the world’s finest tequilas to craft unique combinations inspired by the tasting notes found in each expression.

BLANCO by Maison Solís Eau de Parfum ($110 MSRP; 30ML) captures the exhilarating freshness of agave’s earliest stage, offering bright citrus notes that embody the vibrancy and excitement of tequila’s initial expression. Bright and crisp, yet robust and complex, it transports wearers to the sun-kissed agave fields found in the Highlands of Tequila, Mexico, with notes of fresh agave rooted in red clay soil, ripe citrus, coconut, and cedar.
