On Tuesday, May 13, MV Real Estate Holdings, in partnership with Miami-Dade Public Housing and Community Development (PHCD), Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces (PROS), and Transportation and Public Works (DTPW), hosted the official ribbon-cutting opening ceremony for Ludlam Trail Towers, a landmark senior housing development and the first public-private collaboration of its kind in Miami-Dade County.

The event commemorated the opening of 64 new rental units and the public unveiling of a pedestrian bridge across Coral Way that connects both buildings to the future Ludlam Trail linear park. Key leaders including Alex Mantecon with MV Real Estate Holdings, Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine-Cava, Former Commissioner Rebeca Sosa, Nathan Kogan with PHCD, Maria Nardi with PROS, and Commissioner Natalie Milian Orbis delivered remarks to commemorate the grand opening.

About Ludlam Trail Towers: Ludlam Trail Towers addresses Miami-Dade’s critical need for attainable senior housing while helping realize the vision for the Ludlam Trail,  a 6.2-mile multi-use path that will connect with the Underline and create over 16 miles of uninterrupted trails throughout the urban core. The 64 rental units development, composed of two buildings with four and five stories, will encompass 760-square-foot one-bedroom, one-bathroom units to 1,000-square-foot two-bedroom, two-bathroom residences. The towers on either side of Coral Way will be connected by a pedestrian bridge that spans Coral Way and will be part of the Ludlam Trail. The project will leverage its exclusive location with direct access to the Ludlam Trail linear park and include a multipurpose room available for the public, allowing residents to interact with it while allowing them to participate in fitness activities.
