We are thrilled to welcome special guest Diana Nyad, whose incredible achievements and advocacy continue to inspire us all. Diana will be making a special announcement.
Additionally, we are honored to feature a brief statement by the renowned author and activist Rita Mae Brown, whose words have empowered countless individuals.
Our honorees for the evening, Tristan Schukraft and the late Edie Windsor will be recognized for their outstanding contributions and relentless dedication to our community.

Gala Honoree – Tristan Schukraft
Known as “The CEO of Everything Gay,” Schukraft is a technology entrepreneur turned hotelier, nightlife aficionado, and producer. He founded MISTR, a telemedicine platform for HIV care, and produced Drag: The Musical. His hospitality portfolio includes The Tryst hotels, Circo nightclub, and iconic LGBTQ+ venues like The Abbey, The Chapel, DS Tequila, and several others. The Tryst Fire Island is set to open next year.
Standing on the Shoulders of Heroes Inductee – Edie Windsor
A trailblazing LGBTQ+ rights activist and former IBM technology manager. Windsor is best known for her landmark Supreme Court case, United States v. Windsor (2013), which led to the overturning of Section 3 of the Defense of Marriage Act and granted federal recognition to same-sex marriages
Judith Kasen-Windsor, Edie’s widow will be at the Gala to receive this honor on behalf of Edie.
