SOS Children’s Villages Florida (SOS) is bringing its signature annual gala, The Emerald Ball, to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Presented by ABA Centers, the black-tie affair will feature a cocktail reception, dinner, live auction, and headline performance by platinum-selling artist Rachel Platten, best known for her hit “Fight Song.” Actor Mykelti Williamson (24, Ali, Boomtown, Con Air, Justified, and The Purge: Election Year) will serve as emcee.

Highlights include:
* Gala Chairs Christopher and Julie Barnett, representing ABA Centers and The Christopher M. Barnett Family Foundation.
* Presentation of the Children’s Champion Award to Ryan Case of Rick Case Automotive Group.
* Support from sponsors including Coral Springs Automall, Marsh and McLennan, Republic National Distributing Company, Rick Case Automotive Group, and Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

Tickets are $500 and available at www.hopeandhomegala.org. Proceeds will directly benefit foster children and young adults supported by SOS’s programs.

Founded in 1993, SOS Children’s Villages Florida provides a nurturing home environment for foster children, with a focus on keeping siblings together. Its NEXT STEPS program supports more than 200 young adults who have aged out of foster care.
