South Florida foodies, wine lovers and aspiring chefs alike will be delighted that Books & Books, Miami’s beloved independent bookstore and gathering spot, is presenting An Evening with Chef Jan Jorgensen in celebration of the release of his new book A Cook’s Table: Food and Wine Together. Co-authored with former journalist and renowned wine expert Todd Wernstrom, A Cook’s Table is a compendium of more than 125 recipes from Jorgensen’s storied career. Organized by wine type, the book offers a curated selection of dishes that perfectly complement each wine variety with recipes ranging from sublime, simple selections to more advanced culinary creations.

The special one-night event offers a unique opportunity to engage with Chef Jorgensen to explore his book, and hear firsthand his experiences in the world of fine dining, insights into his recipes and culinary philosophy, and the inspiration behind A Cook’s Table. Attendees will have the chance to engage in conversation, ask questions, and even get their books signed.
