This immersive exhibition, composed of historical videos, informational posters, personal stories, and artifacts, celebrates the resilience, courage, and contributions of the LGBTQ+ community globally over the past 55 years. “55 Years of Pride” presents a vibrant tapestry of stories that have not only shaped the fight for equality, dignity, and visibility in the United States but have sparked movements across continents.
From the Stonewall Riots in 1969, a defining moment in modern LGBTQ history, to the bold Pride events in São Paulo, Sydney, Tel Aviv, and Cape Town, this exhibition highlights the diverse ways communities have united against oppression and celebrated their identities.
