Forum Wine Shop Brings Global Selection of Wines to Fort Lauderdale
Forum Wine Shop, a new wine shop developed to bring a selection of wines from around the world to the Fort Lauderdale community, is now open at 503 Southwest 2nd Avenue, STE 7. Inspired by a modern tasting room cellar, Forum Wine Shop showcases a variety of hand-selected wines at varying price points, inviting all wine drinkers to explore new varietals and regions. With a rotating selection from Italy, France, California, Spain and other wine-growing regions from around the globe including South Africa, Australia, Hungary and more, Forum Wine Shop delivers on a collection of iconic standbys, along with lesser-known producers and blends chosen for their flavor, composition and price.
“Forum Wine Shop was born in the spirit of encouraging exploration of the world through the lens of varying wines and the neighborhood’s need for a new, immersive wine shop experience,” says Michael Winter, Founder and Owner of Forum Wine Shop. “As residents in the area for more than a decade, we’ve identified the opportunity to bring our community a simple yet tailored way to discover new wines to share with family and friends.”
Forum Wine Shop provides the opportunity to travel and experience cultures and traditions through everyday wines and occasions and it starts with the space’s intentional design. Organized by region, wine shoppers are welcomed to an industrial, yet warm environment with 10-foot high wine shelves along the walls, putting the focus on the wine and enhancing the shop’s initial roots as a converted auto body shop reimaged by Moderno Development, the company behind transforming the south of the New River corridor.
The space features a custom-made cash wrap that is a naturally perfect spot to try a rotation of wines while shopping. The space has been designed to make customers feel like they are grabbing a bottle from their own home wine cellar. In addition to the first brick and mortar location, Forum Wine Shop will offer local delivery within a 5-mile radius on request, private showroom hours for clients to explore the library selection and reserve vintages and can accommodate yacht provisioning requests, special events, private parties and more. Chilled wines and champagne are also available and special requests are encouraged.
“We look forward to sharing our love of wine with those seeking a new way to find bottles that will evoke memories and create new ones,” adds Holly Winter, Co-Owner of Forum Wine Shop. “Wine shouldn’t be intimidating and our hope is to introduce the local community to new wines, wine makers, regions encourage them to embrace our ‘no rules, just wine’ philosophy.”
Forum Wine Shop is now open at 503 Southwest 2nd Avenue, STE 7 in the 501 Urban Warehouse Building. Dedicated parking is available at the storefront which is on the backside of the building. Learn more about Forum Wine Shop and upcoming events Instagram @forumwineshop or visit www.forumwineshop.com.
