Durée Ross, President & Founder of PR Firm Durée & Company, Wins Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce’s Badass Women of the Year Award
Durée Ross, president and founder of Durée & Company, an award-winning full-service Fort Lauderdale and Aspen public relations and marketing firm, is the winner of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce’s City National Bank 4th Annual Badass Women of the Year in the Arts, Culture and Media category.
The award recognizes women who do business in Miami-Dade County, demonstrate leadership and make an impact in their business, show innovation, drive value and have significant community involvement.
The award was presented to Ross by Richard I. Segal, chairman of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce and co-founder of RFB+Fisher Potter Hodas and co-manager of the Miami office, and Brittnie Bassant, president and CEO of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce, at an Aug. 23 luncheon. The Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce made a $1,000 donation in honor of Ross to Homestead Youth Arts Center, a nonprofit organization that provide kids of all ages equal opportunities to be actively involved within the art of dance despite financial hardships.
Ross has a deep-rooted commitment to her Miami community, where she leverages her expertise to support numerous local businesses and chamber members. A native Miamian, she has worked extensively with various Miami-based clients, providing PR and marketing services that enhance their visibility and impact. Durée & Company actively participates in local initiatives, collaborates with Miami-Dade’s business community, and supports nonprofit organizations including Feeding South Florida, Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade and many others.
Having founded Durée & Company in 1999 at the age of 24, Ross is a fearless leader of her agency, breaking barriers in traditional and emerging industries and consistently delivering innovative solutions that set her clients and agency apart. Her contributions extend to providing pro bono services, participating in community events, and fostering a network of support among Miami’s business leaders and philanthropists.
