Chef Thomas Keller Unveils The Garden at Bouchon Coral Gables
Marked by Two Exclusive Events With Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden’s Million Orchid Project and Neiman Marcus, The Garden at Bouchon Brings Elevated Outdoor Dining to the Coral Gables Community
MIAMI, FL. MARCH 13, 2025 – Chef Thomas Keller’s award-winning French bistro concept, Bouchon, is pleased to announce the opening of The Garden at Bouchon, a stunning new outdoor dining expansion that brings together classic French fare and Coral Gables’ natural surroundings. Located within the historic La Palma Courtyard, the space offers an intimate and elevated setting for al fresco dining, exclusive receptions, and happy hours.
To mark the debut of The Garden at Bouchon, Chef Thomas Keller partnered with Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden and the Coral Gables location of Neiman Marcus—two integral pillars of the Coral Gables community—to host two special events on Thursday, March 13th that showcased the new space and its role within the community.
Designed by landscape architect Michael H. Foster, The Garden at Bouchon blends native plants with carefully selected trees, palms, and vines to create an intimate and evolving space that feels connected to its surroundings. Using a subtropical palette, plants and trees like Lignum Vitae, Calamondin, and Flaming Glorybower bring color and texture to the setting, while copper elements and custom steel trellises add subtle architectural and design touches to The Garden. A private dining entrance framed by purple-flowering Brunfelsia, Florida Thatch Palms, and Marlberry leads the way to an inviting dining experience in the Bocuse Room.
Set within the La Palma building, a historic landmark dating back to 1924, Bouchon continues to capture the timeless setting that has long defined the Coral Gables community. Whether enjoying a signature croque madame, a fresh selection of fruits de mer from the raw bar, or a glass of wine, The Garden at Bouchon provides a seasonal setting for meals, pre-or post-dinner drinks and private events, offering a dining experience that celebrates Chef Keller’s exceptional French fare and the natural beauty of Coral Gables.
