This Mother’s Day, counterparts Uchi Miami and Uchiko Miami Beach invite guests to elevate their celebrations with two distinct, beautifully curated experiences that reflect each restaurant’s commitment to modern Japanese cuisine, elevated hospitality and unforgettable flavor.

On Sunday, May 11, Uchi Miami offers a one-night-only omakase dinner experience crafted to deliver a sense of occasion and intimacy. Breaking from the typical brunch format, this special dinner is an opportunity to treat mom to a refined, multi-course culinary journey in the heart of Wynwood. The experience begins with playful bites like carbonated grapes and oysters with pineapple zu and jalapeño relish, building up to standout dishes such as Tasmanian ocean trout with salsa criolla; olive oil-poached halibut with confit plantain and pickled ramps; and luxurious pairings of chu-toro, kama toro and sake toro. Dessert features Uchi’s iconic Jasmine Cream topped with cilantro granita, honey tuile and pineapple for a bright and beautiful finale.

Just across the causeway, Uchiko Miami Beach presents a limited-time Mother’s Day Tart Box, available for pickup May 10–11 from 3-11 p.m. Priced at $55, the beautifully boxed set includes five elegant, house-made tart slices that balance indulgence with inventive Japanese-inspired flavors:

  • Tropical tart: Macadamia crust, mango passion curd, banana yuzu jam, whipped cream

  • Chocolate pretzel tart: Pretzel crust, dulce de leche, baked chocolate ganache, whipped cream cheese, smoked maple glaze

  • Chocolate gochujang tart: Chocolate cookie crust, gochujang dulce de leche, strawberry curd, gochujang-strawberry jam, dark chocolate namelaka
