Unlike any other rum currently on the market, the rum was crafted using a brand-new Aromatic Cask Toasting process, developed by Brugal’s female rum master and fifth generation descendant from the Brugal family, Jassil Villanueva Quintana. Inspired by the Dominican’s rich coffee culture, Colección Visionaria presents flavors of cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg, weaving together with a deep coffee flavor that creates a smooth and balanced finish. To achieve to coffee finish, casks are toasted with 100% Dominican coffee beans, allowing the wood to soak up their flavor, before being filled with rum and aged to perfection.
