The Symphonia, South Florida’s Premier Chamber Orchestra

The Symphonia, South Florida’s Premier Chamber Orchestra, founded in July 2004 as the Boca Raton Philharmonic Symphonia, is on a mission to inspire, educate, and engage South Florida’s diverse community through extraordinary musical experiences. Its acclaimed Connoisseur Concert Series, launched in the 2005-06 season, blends classic and contemporary compositions, receiving critical acclaim. Performances extend from Fort Lauderdale to northern Palm Beach County and the Arsht Center in Miami. The Connoisseur Concert Series serves as the artistic centerpiece, complemented by programs like Encore Connoisseur!, Meet the Orchestra, and Box Lunch It with The Symphonia, fostering musical enrichment and educational outreach. The orchestra proudly supports a String Outreach program at the Boys’ & Girls’ Club of Delray Beach, offering music education to underserved children. Additionally, The Symphonia serves as the official orchestra for Festival of the Arts BOCA and collaborates with the Master Chorale of South Florida and Boca Ballet Theatre. Recognizing the importance of arts in enhancing quality of life, The Symphonia partners with The City of Boca Raton for ongoing Community Concerts.
