Palm Beach, FL – Distinguished guests from around the globe recently convened at the exclusive Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach for the American Humane Society’s intimate Dinner with Friends. Set against the elegant backdrop of the iconic Gold & White Ballroom, this sophisticated evening celebrated the launch of the Global Humane Society and featured an exclusive preview screening of the critically acclaimed documentary, Escape from Extinction: Rewilding.

The evening began with cocktails on the patio, where attendees mingled under the stars while enjoying live classical guitar and a unique “Invite a Wild Friend to Dinner” experience, featuring miniature animal figurines sparking thoughtful conversations on wildlife conservation.

American Humane Society President and CEO, Dr. Robin Ganzert, and film director Matt Brady emphasized the critical mission of global animal protection and rewilding efforts. “You can’t protect what you don’t love, and you can’t love what you don’t know,” remarked Dr. Ganzert. “This evening, through film and conversation, we strengthen our resolve to ensure future generations will cherish and safeguard our world’s incredible wildlife.”

The prestigious gathering not only raised awareness for vital conservation efforts but also fostered meaningful connections among philanthropic leaders and animal advocates, setting the stage for impactful support of the Society’s expanded international initiatives.

The launch of the Global Humane Society marks a groundbreaking new chapter in American Humane Society’s 148-year legacy, extending its mission to rescue, care for, and protect animals worldwide. Now operating in 59 countries, this expansion brings innovative humane initiatives to a global scale, ensuring a brighter future for animals everywhere. With urgent threats facing countless species, the American Humane Society calls on compassionate supporters to join the movement to safeguard the world’s wildlife and habitats before it’s too late.
